Bird cages that Make your Heart Sing! A Party Invite

I love bird cages but admit... I have only one. ONE! One- I got for free, that's toll painted and in need of a little spruce up. My friends are another story... apparently I was a little bird brained and missed out on the bird flu that swept blogland when cage style took a turn for preferred designer decor, Nesting Place, Shabby Nest, Painted Nest, Blessed Nest.... I'll skip the rest... all are strutting their bird loving selves over blogland and we love them for it! These girls have earned themselves one of these cute cage pendants... LOVE 'em!
So, tell me... why is the bird the word these days? Why is everyone so nutty about nests? PerfectBound posted this nest parade. (I heart her nest choices) Do you have signs of birds around your house?
Yes, sigh.... I love them too. This print of vintage birdcages makes me think I could design an entire room around one canary cage...
Vintage cages are striking.... charming... and inspiring.
Cupids Charm share this garden cage....
How about an olive wood cage?
So, Calling all bird watchers... all birds of a feather and fellow vintage bird cage fanatics. Nest nuts are all flocking together here the Pretty Organized Palace today. Bird lovers everywhere are bringing their love indoors and showcasing bird decor in a fancy way.

Yes, blogland is aflutter with bird cages.... and why not? They're beautiful. So, it's time to fly to your cameras and capture your love of all things bird.

I'm hosting a Birds of a Feather party NEXT MONDAY June 29th! Come up with your most inspiring bird loving post and link up here next Monday. This should be a grand showcase of Cages through the ages, nests that look the best, and birds that don't turd... I mean... well, you can show of picture of a real bird if you like... just not the turd.
I'll be looking forward to seeing all of your designer bird decor in 1 week! Now quick, go flitter, twitter, tweet, and peep the news to all your bird loving friends!
What bird things make your heart sing?

I'll have to take a picture of the one I have in my kitchen. I just sold a big wood one at a garage sale because we will be down-sizing and I knew it couldn't come with us.

I'd like to get a small one to do a vignette (once we move)as I recently had 6 old egg prints framed, and thought it would look nice with either a nest and faux eggs or a birdcage or something on the chest underneath them.

Oh dear -- the only bird cages we've ever owned were homes for real birds...now long gone.

(My then-5-year old daughter's famous comment about our parakeet: "Daddy, when Chi-Chi dies, can we get a Labrador?")

No cages left! Dog crates don't count... no, didn't think so! :-)

Proper Parrot Cage

Birds might have small brains, however they are very intelligent beings that require stimulation most of the waking hours. You will wish to get parrot out of parrot cage many times in a day to play with. But, you cannot play with that every time and it is proven that to have bird toys reduces bird's tendency to the bad habits like nipping or else screeching. If you rotate toys frequently, five to six toys must be fine. You would like to see that your parrot doesn’t get bored.

Now let us get to specific bird toys that you will wish to get and bird toys will not have to be very expensive. Actually, few household goods will make acceptable toys. Birds like saying with the cardboard rolls from the paper towels or else wrapping paper. They like to play with the paper & plastic frayed jugs of milk. Birds play with some baby toys like rattles & wooden balls and all toys should be toxic free.

You would like to ensure that you get very good birdcages for parrot. You can decide where you will put your parrot cage; get idea of how large it should be. Also you will have to put somewhere that you enjoy hanging out, so bird is with you whenever you are at home. Purchase metal
parrot cages
, and ensure that all wires are unbroken and are in very good shape. Metal cages are easiest to clean and they are most economical. Check to ensure that parrot cannot get head stuck between bars. Parrots like square cages to round cages so they will snuggle up in corner to sleep.
